I was curious what ink works best when you're coloring an image stamp.. I always run into a problem when I'm coloring with my copics that my ink runs into my color.. I would love any suggestions..

I only use Memento in Black, London fog or Rich Cocoa colours Amanda. It never smudges or contaminates my stamped image.

(There are other dye inks out there just as good, but I stick to what I know works) ;o)

Hope that helps. xxx

I use Memento when I am using copics but if I use a stamp that is highly detailed I use the versafine stamp pads! They make the image just POP and so crisp and clear! I have it in a variety of colors but the ones I turn to over and over again are sepia and black or maybe its called onyx. Since I am writing from my office (you know the place I go everyday in order to fund my habit :-)) I cant really look and see
Memento ink is recommended for Copics.  Stazon for watercolor and colored pencil with gamsol.  I agree that Versafine is a wonderful choice for crisp images.  I use versafine for sentiments, mostly, so I don't know how it holds up to copics or other mediums.
I use Momento inks and never have a problem at all.

I love Copics!  And now they have them at Michaels!!! and I think you can use the coupon on them :-)

I use Memento Black ink too.  If you are coloring digital images that has been printed I suggest using your heat gun first to set the ink from the printer.
Thanks for your suggestions everyone!  I bought a Memento ink pad after reading these posts.  Used it when I stamped 90 faces for birthday badges, and didn't have one error!
